Your Manuscript is Complete. Now What?

Pat Caren will present Preparing Your Book for Publication at the Marketing Coalition meeting this Saturday, July 9, at 1:00 p.m.

Caren writes under the pen name Marie Q. Rogers. Her YA novel, Trials by Fire, received a 2020 Royal Palm Literary Award. The sequel, Quest for Namai, debuted at the 2022 Sunshine State Book Festival. Her dystopian novel, Season of the Dove can be found on Kindle Vella.

Her work has also appeared in Bacopa Literary Review, Pilcrow & Dagger, and in the collection, Local Lives in a Global Pandemic: Stories from North Central Florida. She also posts creative non-fiction on her weblog, marieqrogers.com. She has served as President of the Writers Alliance of Gainesville, a judge for the Royal Palm Literary Awards, and chairman of the Sunshine State Book Festival.
