COVID-19 Chronicles
June 14, 2020, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Recently, all WAG members were invited to WAG’s June online program and asked to share with fellow writers how they have spent their time during the Covid-19 self-quarantine. Did they have an opportunity to work on a novel, create a new website, start a social media presence?
Eight WAG members volunteered!
Join us on June 14, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., when the followig members will share what they have been up to: Susie Baxter, Ann~Marie Magné, Richard Gartee, Skipper Hammond, James Williams, Mallory O’Connor, Wendy Thornton, and Ronnie Lovler, who will introduce the other speakers and moderate this online program.
Lovler is a former journalist with extensive experience in Latin America; she was a correspondent and producer for both CNN and CBS and reported from every country in Latin America. A chapter she wrote in the book, Alone Together: Tales of Sisterhood and Solitude in Latin America, is a reflection of those experiences. She now works independently as a writer, editor, researcher and translator. She also teaches online writing classes at the University of Florida and public speaking classes at Santa Fe College.
